Sorry for extremely stupid question!
I was checking out a second-hand RB2 kit and what struck me about it is that it works wirelessly to the USB “hub” that you connect to the Wii. There is no Wii-specific hardware there, as long as I can see (e.g. no buttons labeled “A” or “B” or “1” or “2” etc.)
So my stupid question is: If I get a second-hand RockBand 3 Xbox 360 disc (off eBay or such), will this kit work on Xbox?
The only way I see that kit work on xbox 360 is using an xbox MPA and a computer. Plug the kit to the computer > translate buttons to MIDI notes > output MIDI data to the MPA.
If you’re not willing to go through that trouble; then no, you can’t.
Just s suggestion though: If you have a decent gaming computer you could use that kit on a wii emulator; or Phase Shift.
What’s an MPA?
That’s the MIDI Pro Adapter.
