Since there isn’t a real way to get customs to group together, the best solution I’ve really thought of is to give every custom I download an in-game review of five lighters, so that they can all be sorted together. However, it is massively tedious leaving these reviews song by song in the setlist (especially with the amount of official exports and DLC that I own). I also seem to always miss one or two, and any messing with the cache file appears to delete a lot of the in-game ratings.

Is there any way to batch edit in game review scores using the C3 CON tools? It would certainly save me a good bit of trouble.

Since all customs show up under Rock Band Network while filtering, it might be easier to rate all actual RBN songs you have with a certain rating and leave all customs unrated. Then filter for Source:RBN and sort by rating. That way all new customs you add will also be sorted correctly. This of course only applies if you have less actual RBN songs than customs.

I have no idea whether there’s an easy way to accomplish what you’re asking for or not however.

That’s definitely simpler, but if I ever convince friends to play Rock Band again I think it’s overall simpler to leave out the need to limit the setlist. Getting the ratings onto the customs eliminates the need to filter the source, which means I don’t have to cut songs out of the list on screen. If there doesn’t appear to be an easy way to do it, I’ll have to stick to doing it manually, I guess.

There is a savegame manager that StackOverflow0x made; I don’t know if it allows to edit the ratings of the songs; but it might. I’ve seen it in the wii thread but iirc it works with all consoles savegames.
