How do Pro Guitar and Bass works?

I been wondering how to chart with the Tracks: Pro Guitar and Pro Bass, for awhile now.
Just wondering if there is anyone out there to give me some tips or point me to a topic where it states.
I play Guitar, Bass, and I already have a Pro guitar for my Xbox 360. Mastered a few songs.
But would love to play some songs with the customs I want.

You can also use EoF to author them; which can import GP5 (Guitar Pro) files directly.
