Have 3 or 4 more songs to upload soon and been testing them but have a problem with 1 song that I cant seem to figure out, if anyone has seen this problem before please assist.
Song plays fine in Reaper, plays fine in Magma too (snippet) , Created Wav file plays fine with windows media player, mute file plays fine (well its muted so no noise at all) But…..
On the XBOX the audio is totally corrupted, you can make out the song but crackles and noise is unbearable.
Have I changed something in reaper by accident or maybe a problem with audio codecs that the XBOX drivers does not understand?
Thanks
Please use the forums search function: “audio corrupt” brings up the solution in the 2nd link in the list, and this one is the first…
I could swear Magma is supposed to be preventing those kinds of songs from compiling. Is that not working correctly?
Thanks Farrotone, I will try the resolution you pointed me towards, I did search last night but late so the brain must have been asleep, so apologies.
Nemo, I will try again later when I get home and create a new magma project for this, I have seen messages pop up when compiling warning about only two audio tracks if this is what you are referring to? it did compile with no problems just corrupt on the XBOX.
I will report later, thanks Guys
That’s exactly what I’m talking about. So Magma told you it would result in corrupted audio…and you went ahead and compiled it and are confused why you have corrupted audio? You gotta read the message prompts. They’re there for a reason.
Issue now resolved.
I am aware of the magma error message you are referring to but for some reason it was not warning me on this particular magma compil when i clicked on build song, however……
Putting a mute file into the crowd audio did resolve the issue and the audio is now fine on the xbox.
Many thanks for the help.
