I just had to thank all of you for making these custom songs. My husband and I have rockband night every Friday and were pretty bummed when they stopped releasing DLC for rockband 3. We have so much invested in his ION drums and so far they aren’t supported in Rockband 4 so we were resigned to our fate of playing the songs we had over and over..until we found this site. So thank you so much..all of you..now I am so excited for Friday! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Never forget the Joy I had when finding this web site last year. I think I downloaded like 200 songs in the first 24 hrs.
It’s like hitting the lottery of RB3 songs. Brings new life to your RB3 music Library ! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

March 23, 2016 at 7:19 pm #465868I’m right there with you. I discovered it a few months ago and I’ve already passed the 1500 songs mark! If you’re as into music as I am, trust me, scroll through the database thoroughly. I must have gone through it fully like 15 times, each time discovering a dozen or so “Ohhhh, THIS song? I remember this!” Much love and respect for all the administrators and authors for making this possible.

A quick note to Epietro & Stacey d. You both just recently found this great treasure trove called C3……
( Warning RB3 has a 3,000 song limit for total songs allowed ! ) I found this out the hard way on my own late one night .
This includes RB 1 & 2 imports + your RB3 DLC content.
Grab up all the great songs you’ve always wanted to play in RB3. When you get close to 2,500 songs total ( choose wisely ) !

That’s what I do also K-mac
I have 1 for FB songs, 1 for Non full band songs & 1 for keyboard & vocals only….. lol
After about 5,000 songs it gets tough to keep them all organized.
March 23, 2016 at 8:44 pm #465873One thing I have noticed is not all of my purchased DLC is showing up on the list…possibly a license issue??? Also how do I save my progress on these songs? Im thinking I will have to create a new xbox profile that is not on live? Even if I cant save my progress its fine..we can keep track on paper lol! I also have a feeling 3,000 songs will not take too long at all at this rate!

Once Xbox live comes up and tells you to download Update 5 tell it NO, at that point you will be knocked off of Xbox live.
No need for a new profile. You can’t play custom songs on Xbox live. Most of us have more than 1 usb thumb drive.
Format both thumb drives in your Xbox 360 first !
Move Update #5 from Xbox 360 hard drive also copying song cache, audio/video settings and your saved game files onto usb thumb drive by itself .
Get a second usb thumb drive to keep Update #4 and custom songs on, you will need to copy your song cache, audio/video settings and your saved game files from RB3 xbox hard drive to this 2nd thumb drive also.
Then when you want to play online or a few of your RB3 DLC songs that’s not showing up plug in thumb drive with update #5 in to xbox.
Plug in thumb drive with update #4 and custom songs to play custom’s and most DLC content ( If DLC is not showing up, you need to redownload the licences )
There may be a better way of doing it ? This method has alway worked fine for me. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
If you have any problems just ask, someone on here will usually help you ! Or read the How to play customs Q & A.
Hope this helps you get set up ?

I have an add-on question. It seems that the songs that will definitely NOT work alongside customs (for me) are any DLC that are considered from Rock Band 2 or earlier. All Rock Band 3 DLC works, as well as on-disc songs and all previous disc exports (Lego, RB1, RB2, Green Day). Do you have the same issue? I’m dying to know exactly what the issue is. There’s a select few songs I wanted to play but wouldn’t work. Example: Green Day – 21 Guns; considered RB2 DLC because I bought it before GD Rock Band came out. That and the other 2 songs from that “pack” don’t work, but the rest of the Green Day songs work fine from the export. Any ideas, anyone?
