Here’s where I’ll post updates to older songs that are from the repository/Youtube/deep reaches of the Internet, as well as my own charts/collabs. For songs that have already been made, these updates include: Overdrive/unison, drum fills, chart mistakes, lyric typos, bad/missing lip syncing, incorrect metadata, missing animations, and authored reductions.
Also, I’ll be sure to credit the original authors if I can. If I’ve fixed up one of your customs and didn’t credit you, just let me know and I’ll fix that right away.

Two fixed up customs to kick things off. “505” was originally in the repository, but oddly enough was missing the key/pro key chart found on Acai28’s Youtube Channel, so I added that back in as well as a few other tweaks. “That’s What Friends Do” was another song also charted by Acai28. A complete list of changes that I made to these two songs can be found in the notes section of the database.

March 19, 2016 at 6:27 pm #465621Great to see “505” fixed, now i can replace it with you’re version.
Btw if you’re looking for song’s to fix up, i found this on my travels.
Everything seems to be in order on the 1x version, never tested the 2x bass as i don’t play it. The hopos are included, just not shown on the preview video. The only thing missing is the CAT reductions.
March 22, 2016 at 4:58 pm #465807Hey, it’s awesome that you’re doing this! Congrats on launching your thread!

http://customscreators.com/index.php?/page/index.html/_/sic-transit-gloria-glory-r12209
Two more updated customs. A couple of songs from Brand New’s greatest album, Deja Entendu. There’s a little bit of everything that got fixed up with these, from reductions to overdrive to pitched vocals, so be sure to read the notes in the database for a complete list of changes. Many thanks to ShinyZeni for his help with these and MissingElements for originally charting Tautou!
Now the only thing these songs are missing is harmonies, which is definitely a crime. If anyone wants to finish these by adding them, that’d be awesome.

April 7, 2016 at 7:13 pm #466662Awesome! I’ll pick these up and give them a shot ASAP. Thanks for doing these!
October 6, 2016 at 5:15 am #475875Here’s a small update. Overdrive for “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars. I don’t usually post in this thread unless the original authors are unavailable/don’t have their own thread, and the latter seems to be the case with this song. Infernus doesn’t seem to have his own thread and he hasn’t been online in close to a month, so I’ll leave this update here until he see my PM. All credit for this song goes to Infernus, I just added overdrive.
P.S. I also have “Psycho” and “Thoughts of a Dying Atheist” by Muse updated with a few fixes. Does anyone know who the original author(s) is for these songs so I can send it to them?

A couple more fixes for you guys to grab. The first is “Psycho” by Muse. I’ve checked some of the older forums and searched for the original author of this one, but I really have no idea who made it. There were several typos and phrases that didn’t begin with a capital letter, so I went ahead and fixed those. I also fixed a problem with the unpitched vocals; every single word had the “#” sign visible in the song. It was noticeably bad with this one in particular because there is A LOT of talking. And the original also didn’t have a mature content filter. If you grabbed this from my comment in the customs repository, that version is outdated and has been removed.

Next up we have “Thoughts of a Dying Atheist.” I believe The_Rock_Band_King and Kueller created this one, or at least that’s what it says in the visualizer. It didn’t have any difficulty rankings in game, all the instruments showed up as tier 0. This one also had a couple of issues with the talkies having a “#” symbol, as well as one of the unpitched vocal tubes not being displayed on screen. But the biggest issue was the vocal slides, or lack thereof. You can see the outdated version in this video here:
0:55 shows off a few of the mistakes. The words “collide,” “all,” and the two “whoas” in the chorus didn’t have vocal slides, making it harder to sing correctly. Also “woah” has been changed to “whoa.” All of the issues in this video have been corrected.
Also, in case you missed them, anyone who is a fan of Neon Trees or Arctic Monkeys should check out angelbracket and Zanny77’s threads for some small updates to “Sleeping with a Friend” and “Do I Wanna Know?” The database versions for these songs have not been updated because the authors haven’t been online in awhile. I’ll also go ahead and add “Kids” by MGMT to the database this week as soon I can find my flash drive. VX hasn’t been active in about 9 months and this song was a bit of a chore to track down.
That wraps things up for now, but I’ll have more updates pretty soon. Thanks guys.

October 9, 2016 at 4:22 pm #476031Thank you for your work. We don’t have a protocol in place for this kind of things so for now we need to do it like this. Thoughts of a Dying Atheist’s vocals all need a lot of slides, not just the chorus, thanks for having taken care of that.

I’m sorry I’ve waited so long to make another update, it’s been pretty hectic lately. This is a pretty diverse little batch of songs, so hopefully there’s something for everyone here. Here’s a list of the fixes:
First up we have “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head?” by Dean Martin. This was charted by mrmet2087, so all credit for the original goes to him. There was some illegal punctuation and missing capitalization at the start of vocal phrases, as wall as an extra space between the syllables and hyphens (fel – la – instead of fel- la-). These have been corrected. The tempo map is still a little iffy, but the note position is at least consistent so it is still playable.
Next we have two version of “Faint” by Linkin Park. Both TheOreo and mb1nightmare charted their own versions of this song, and with their permission we’ve combined the best of each chart and made some extra fixes. For this version, Oreo charted vocals, harmonies, bass, and drums, while Nightmare handled guitar and keys/pro keys (with the help of -para -dox). Also, the Rhythm on Bass version has Oreo’s guitar on guitar with Nightmare’s rhythm on bass. I fixed some lyric issues (underscores in place of some hyphens, capitalization at the start of phrases, removed all commas), fixed drum animations, and did some small venue edits.
“Time to Pretend” by MGMT. Fixed some typos and punctuation, adjusted vocal overdrive, fixed reductions of guitar and pro keys to be more in line with the authoring docs, added a mature content filter. This was originally authored by rageer, so many thanks to him.
Last, we have a very special custom. This was a song I received from Alex Taylor a few months ago. I offered to record video previews for his songs, and he was kind enough to let me choose which song he charted next. I picked “Earthquake” by The Used, so he charted everything except for vocals and sent it to me. It was still a work in progress at the time, as he wanted to add vocals and harmonies before he released it officially, so he asked that I keep it to myself in the meantime. With his brother’s permission, I’m really happy to be able to share another contribution of his with the community. I haven’t made any edits to it, it’s exactly as it is when he sent it to me.

December 5, 2016 at 9:05 pm #478463Now this is the Supreme version of Faint for RB3 hahaha!! I’ve removed mine from dB.
December 12, 2016 at 6:06 am #478710Just letting you know that on Faint (non rhythm version at least) the guitar is very out of sync.

Thanks for pointing this out. I’ll try and get this fixed as soon as possible.

The Killers – Sam’s Town
The Killers – Bones
The Last Goodnight – Pictures of You
It’s been quite some time since I’ve added anything to this thread. Rest assured, I’ve been working behind the scenes with plenty of great authors to create and fix up content on here. And I definitely couldn’t have released this pack if it weren’t for the talents of everyone involved: RealCheese, AtrueJedi, Erniewan, Oddbrother, and Ultimate_Mang0. It’s always satisfying seeing the end result of a custom when you have a whole team working together. Enjoy this pack, and if you would be so kind, here is a great cause that you can donate to: to: https://worldwish.rallybound.org/c3
