I’m having some issues with the lyrics in a couple of my customs. I’m hoping someone might be able to figure out why these issues occur.

    1. In my chart of heavydirtysoul by twenty one pilots, every single apostrophe in the lyrics end up as underscores when played in RB3. They look fine in reaper (all are apostrophes), however. This might be an issue of where I copied the lyrics from, but I always have everything saved as txt files in notepad as per the usual way of placing lyrics in a song. This has never happened in any other chart I’ve ever done which leaves me stumped.

    2. In my chart of Lane Boy, as by twenty one pilots, I have a long phrase because the vocalist spouts on for a good portion of time without leaving any kind of break to setup more phrases. Halfway through the phrase the lyrics just stop working. Is there a lyric limit to a single phrase that I’m unaware of? That’s the only thing I can think of. =P

Any input on either issue would be helpful, thanks.

This happened to me. I think it’s a different type of apostrophe but it won’t read in RB. I just replaced all the ones in the text file with ones I typed. Copy and Replace works very well for this.

Yeah, there is a limit to how long a phrase can be. I had issues with this in “The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows” by Brand New, where the choruses had rather long phrases due to how the harmonies worked, and I had to find a way to separate the phrases without the end of these phrases leaving lyrics out. Try cutting the phrase into two phrases, that should fix it.
