Searching the forum revealed that the fix for this encoding issue keeps rolling itself back in the archives when nobody is looking! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
As of the big release at the start of this year, I’m getting bad sorting on these band names again. If nobody has actually addressed this behind the scenes yet, I’m going to dig into this tomorrow and post the solution (and example files).
EDIT: Fixed. Third post has details. File link:
I give up with these, honestly. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif”>
I have no idea why it bounces back and forth and rarely ever seems to stick regardless of encoding used.
Fixes for “Don’t Fear the Reaper” and “Girls Who Play Guitars” are here:

As originally appearing for me in Notepad++…
* Reaper encoding was UTF-8 with Unix EOL.
* Girls encoding was UTF-8 with DOS/Win EOL.
Since BOC’s “Godzilla” had a correctly sorting songs.dta, I used its settings of UTF-8-BOM with DOS/Win EOL. Also, by way of double-checking, Motley Crue’s “Dr. Feelgood” had those same settings.
I can’t get Reaper to run on PS3. “Skipping” I’ve tried the “fixes” files, etc, but no love. The boys are coming over Friday night and I’ve got a fever. And the only prescription is more cowbell. Any ideas?
You guys…I’m seriously…Am I the only one that has an official RB3 cow bell? lol
At first glance, I thought it was wired. But it’s not. Still awesome (but… less awesome)
