So I used to exclusively play RB3 on the Wii because I didn’t own it on the 360 and I had the custom gig going on.
Now I have it on the 360 and have redownloaded almost all of the customs and it’s all good. However, there are a couple that I made that I lost after I reformatted my hard drive, and a couple I got from C3 that seem to have disappeared (most importantly Stacy’s Mom). I still have the .bin files from the Wii for both of these – is there any way to convert that into an rb3con file so that I can load it on to my 360? I was so excited to play Stacy’s Mom because it always stuttered on the Wii, and now… here I am.
Thanks!
There is no way to convert directly. The best way would be:
1) Extract the files
2) Create a new Magma: C3 project for that song and enter all the relevant metadata. You can do most of this by drag/dropping the DTA file you extracted from the .bin file
3) Throw the mogg at Audacity and separate out the audio channels and then feed those to Magma.
4) Convert the png_wii image to png_xbox using Advanced Art Converter in C3 CON Tools (but you probably want to get a higher resolution image anyways)
5) Compile.
It’s more work than that, but that’s essentially it.
By the way, Stacy’s Mom still has it going on and can be found on my old customs thread. See link on my signature.

Stuttering on wii can be fixed,I played alot with official RBN files (from my ps3) and found a way around it, but you loose multitracks. (Unless someone knows how to decrypt HMX moggs? )

If anyone ever does, they’re not allowed to discuss that on these forums. Keep that in mind.
