OK, so I have another strange glitch in Reaper…
I have been editing my latest Foo Fighters track- and during the process .. I have managed to prevent any BLUE / RED track DRUM notes to be laid down. If I place the cursor on the blue track for example and double click – the mouse places a note on the YELLOW track. (place the cursor on Yellow , double click and a note is placed on yellow).
I have closed and reloaded the project, rebooted the PC etc. The problem is specific to this project though because it doesnt happen in any others…
I am guessing the project file may have become corrupt somehow…. normally, if right mouse click(?) click on ‘BLUE’ in the left hand panel it would normally select all notes and enable me to carry over all notes to a new project file. However, this fault means I cannot select any of the RED & BLUE notes….
Obviously, I am hoping someone else has had this experience and can suggest a work around… thank you.
Check if you ticked the Scale box at the bottom of the MIDI window, in which case you need to untick it.
Easy when you know how.
Thanks!
