Be warned – I’m a very slow releaser. The first custom I did was an on-and-off project that took literally years to do. Don’t expect anything new any time soon

      Newest release – 2015/08/27

EDIT: There’s an updated version going up to fix an audio issue – namely, the harmonies stem wasn’t rerendered to the backing track.

First up – it might be my birthday, but you get the gift – I finally polished this one up to a standard that I’d be happy putting out there. No keys or harmonies, as I suck at breaking them down to the individual notes – but if someone wants to take on the mess of the project, feel free. I did have a crack at the first part of the song for five-lane keys and harmonies, but gave up pretty quickly on both counts. Pro keys? You’re on your own there. But if you do update this song, please let me know and provide files so I can provide a better version for everyone.

This is a song I’ve wanted in a rhythm game for a long time. Multitracks were available for a remix contest, but I’ve used them for a more direct purpose here. That, and given that one of the songs in the first release of C3 was an MCR song, I figured I’d put one out around the end time

There are no changes between the two versions, apart from lipsync – thanks to Fat Ha1p3rt for contributing this.

EDIT: Full permission is given for anyone wishing to upcycle this release (or any future releases I make). After looking at it from a while on, the guitar chart in the verses could be improved with some different mixing and charting, rather than what seems to be playing rhythm guitar most of the time. I also couldn’t do harmonies and keys charts, as I’m not able to pick the individual notes on the mixed stems.

If anyone wishes to take this on, full project files are already available for download.

I feel like I time traveled one day to the future. Are you in Australia?

Yep. 5:25am here. Been bashing away at this all night – I got an urge to play this song, so I decided to polish it up and put it out there. Then when I got to playing it, the Wiimote in the GH guitar I have for the PC doesn’t work… and there’s no way I’m daring boot up the 360 at this hour.

OK, after throwing the package through cPlayer I noticed a little bit of a mistake. Namely, that I’d forgotten to render the harmonies stem onto backing for this version. I’ve updated the CON and Phase Shift versions. There are NO chart modifications in this update – it’s purely an audio fix. The project file updates will be up shortly.

Awesome!!! I’ve had the stems sitting on my computer for a while and this was going to be my first custom but I gave up quickly. A year or two later I finally did start making customs but never wanted to try doing a multitrack song again.
