I cannot open it and keep getting this warning. Any suggestions? I have deleted and reinstalled with no luck.

Follow instructions in the thread. If they fail, post specific information on what you’re doing, all your system information, confirming you have installed the prerequisites, etc in the c3 con tools thread. No need for a thread asking for help with it when it has its own thread.

I followed all of the instructions. When I clicked on the icon to open the program I got this warning right away. It wouldn’t open. Odd. I have had no problems up until now

So you installed all the pre-requisits listed on the OP of the thread? Because…

I followed all of the instructions.

Suggests that you don’t have .NET Framework installed as instructed and/or you’re missing one of the .dll files that come with C3 CON Tools when you download it.

I have had no problems up until now

Are you saying C3 CON Tools worked for you before? If so, what changed? It doesn’t stop working for no reason. So you must have changed something. What is it? If it’s never worked for you, then what are you talking about with this line?

Also, what is the error? I don’t want your interpretation, I want to see it. If it gives you an option for more details or to see the error, click on that, and get me that as well.

What Windows? How long have you had this installed? What changes have you made recently? What are your system specs? Where is the program installed?

“It doesn’t work” or “it stopped working” will never get you any helpful information. The program works. The problem is on your end. If you want help figuring out why you have a problem on your end, you need to help us help you.

It’s Windows Vista. The warning happens as soon as I click on the exe icon. I tried to get “more info” from Windows but couldn’t. I am going to start from the beginnign and see what happens. I have a feeling my computer may have a bug

Here are details of the warning

Files that help describe the problem:

        C:UsersStockwell FamilyAppDataLocalTempWER864E.tmp.version.txt

        C:UsersStockwell FamilyAppDataLocalTempWER96E2.tmp.mdmp

I really, really am trying not to lose it here.

But please, for the love of god, THINK for one moment. How does the name of two files on YOUR computer, help ME figure out YOUR problem? That is NOT the error message, I told you specifically to give me the exact error. Those are files that may help, in addition to the actual error. You still haven’t even answered most of the other questions I asked.

This is your last warning, because I’m tired. Respond to every single question or prompt I have given you, in detail, if you want help. Anything short of that and I will ignore it. User error and/or ignorance is not a software bug.

LOL! I forgot to extract the files! Someone punch me now, please!
