    Ugh…

Better to just update your Xbox and put them in like one would normal game files, much easier that way

I found all of those in less than one minute by searching for “party buffalo” – took me 5x as long to copy them here for you than to search. But I’m sure you have a valid reason why you couldn’t do the search yourself.

      Ugh…

      My life in one word.

Is there another way to get custom songs instead of party buffalo?

Thanks Nightmare Lyra for the new way of getting custom songs instead of Party Buffalo……very much appreciated…..

The issue is resolved, let it go

That depends on what you consider to be “the issue” – I see the alarming amount of “how do I X” posts to be an issue, where a search can easily answer those questions and obviate the need for those posts.

I don’t think continuing mocking someone after they have gotten their answer is going to stop others from asking more stuff. We have tried that for the past 2 years and it haven’t done anything. Besides, in this case it was a completely different answer all along than actually using Party Buffalo.

Instead I think it would be better to do some sort of forum wide sticky with links to all the tools and tutorials and also disclaimers about reading the rules and searching for stuff, with the thread title in all caps. Won’t stop people from asking completely, but it might reduce it.

For now, this case is finished so no need to keep this thread alive

I completely agree we need to make it more obvious to people that they should research before making a post, considering most questions have already been asked.

What do you think of this prototype? I want to get the look just right before I propose it to pksage for the forum:

But yeah, I love it when there’s a new and interesting question asked. I love that. But questions already asked and answered a dozen times annoy me.

It’s white indiscernible text along with a bunch of other white text with nothing to indicate for first time users they should use the search function. Making a sticky with all caps forum wide is much more likely to grab attention. Or perhaps color code each text function on the top bar, perhaps labeling the search one as red as that is an eye catching color that contrasts with the site theme (or perhaps just color code the search and forum rule buttons to make them stick out even more).

Even if it annoys you, one can’t expect first time users to just know these type of things when everybody is used to Facebook and the like where everything is carefully explained to you with popup boxes and whatnot. It’s much better to think of a solution to a problem instead of lashing out about the problem regularly. Not that it is much of a problem IMO, easy to just ignore a thread if you don’t feel like giving people the 101 and they are not, say, invading a thread and derailing it completely with unrelated stuff

This definitely raises some significant ethical issues for those of us who hate puppies.

If this goes live, I’m done searching. Cat person.
