Madcats update?!?!

Ok I had the EA version of rockband3 I put the disc in and now its madcats?! did the do an update that changed this? because now my customs wont work. how do I fix this?
If you boot the game while the console is online it will install the newest title update, which breaks customs. You’ll need to remove title update 5 and restore title update 4:
