Did anyone ever crack into Def Jam Rapstar for vocals?

I didn’t realise until today how many popular, great hip hop songs were made available through Def Jam Rapstar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Def_Jam_Rapstar) and I wondered if anyone on here knew if the files were ever accessed a la Bluzer with GH/RB?

If they worked with MIDI for charting that’d be a treasure trove of hip-hop with the hardest part already pre-authored.

Looks like the same publisher as the Karaoke Revolution games, although it doesn’t appear to be developed by Harmonix (instead some outfit called 4mm Games).

Most likely uses the same format as KR, which according to Angruss:

ripped the ISO and discovered that inside is a standard Guitar Hero 2 style unencrypted ARK file full of Midis and Moggs. The Midi files are very similar to Rock Band format

A third party dev may have been less careful with the tempo mapping. Some of the KR mapping is already looser than you’d want to chart instruments to. But it’s still better than starting from scratch on vocals.

This is true, but don’t forget they’d be working with hip hop which is 99% of the time produced electronically and so it should all just have a fixed tempo. Any leads on finding these files? From what I’m reading, the company that made it faced a massive lawsuit and had to pull all the DLC from the store, so it might be a bit challenging to get a hold of.
