Been charting vocals and I’ve noticed that my “slides” aren’t really slides, just horizontal lines. Do I need to do something else? All I’ve done is put the + sign on the notes I want to “slide”

Exactly. But, it’s not good that you have never cracked open any existing song to see how it works.
