Hello.
I’m authoring a song with keys, so I started with pro keys. The keys are on the first ten white keys range from red to blue (can’t remember if it is C2 – E3). All keys are charted in that range but I don’t know where to put the lane shift marker and if that midi note are short or long (like an overdrive marker). Magma says an error no expert keys range or something like that.
Other question, is it possible to change the color of the midi notes? I mean from C2-C4 could be color like the RB keyboard. That would be very helpful.
Add a C2-E3 Range note (MIDI note 0) to the very beginning of the song and it should work
Not entirely sure how to create custom color maps
It just has to be a note, not a sustain over the whole part. I usually make them a beat wide, but that’s just personal preference.
thanks for helping me. I will check it later.
Wow, color mapping the regions would be great. If I hadn’t almost gotten the ranges memorized, it would really help to spot errors early on.

This though. The visual aspect is huge. I mean, I as well at this point am use to it, but still.
