PS the song doesn’t even get to finish cus the notes are going to fast. can anyone give me some hints i watched all the tempo mapping stuff and its just so confusing to me its a really hard concept should i just scrap the song and try from the begining or delete the tempo mapping and try again.

You can’t just look up the tempo of a song and be done with it. You need to figure it out yourself. Most songs are going to naturally fluctuate slightly in tempo. You need to turn the click track on in Reaper and make sure it’s staying with the song. Whenever you find that it gets off, you’ll have to go back and fix it.

Tip: If you put Reaper’s play marker on the downbeat and hit Q, it’ll automatically create a full measure from the last “beat 1” to wherever you’ve selected. So, basically, find beat 1, hit Q, repeat.

thank you soo much that makes a lot more sense then anything i have been watching and reading its tough to make these songs but i really can’t wait to start making some it just feels like to me a big accomplishment i know not everyone will like the songs i’m planning to chart but for the ones that do just thinking about how much joy i can bring to ppl with something like this makes me really happy

You may also wish to stop and take a breath once in a while <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> That helps.

I admire your enthusiasm but asphyxiation is not an acceptable side effect <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
