Is it possible to inpect a C3 song file and determine the file version, or does it have to be determined using C3 tools… if so which utility ..?
Thanks
What exactly do you mean by file version?
The song ‘version’ that is incremented with each build in MAGMA….
If I had a handful of the same song file – and wanted to differentiate one from another and I knew they were all different versions… (if it werent for the created/modified timestamp on the file… ) am I able to inspect each file and determine the version ID assigned by MAGMA..?
There is no automated way to tell them apart. You can drag thr songs to c3 con tools and they’ll be opened in con explorer. Based on the author’s settings in magma you might be able to tell them apart there. Otherwise you should be able to do so by looking at the songs.dta file, which you can extract from con explorer.
