Orphaned song_id’s

This is a broad question.
When we get a song update for an existing song, but the song_ID is changed, either by the author, or by CONTools if doing a PS3 load, you end up with ‘orphaned’ song_ID’s in your gamesave.
In other words, you have stars, progress, etc, but no song in your filesystem attached to it.
Has this caused any issue with anyone on their console (PS3, XB, Wii)?
Just curious.
