Divine SmooofParticipantI’m pretty sure I’m doing it right, but I keep getting the following errors:
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART GUITAR) Difficulty expert: Gem at [75] has notes outside the roll begun at 75:3:000.

FarottoneKeymasterWhat are the 2 marker in the upper section? One should be the trill, what about the other?

AddyMillsParticipantYou have a trill lane and a strum lane on top of each other. You need to remove the blue note and move the red note up one (I’m pretty sure the top note is the trill lane)

Nightmare LyraMemberAlso, the final note of a trill should only have a 0.01 part inside of the actual lane. This is achieved by selecting the lane, dragging it first to exclude the final note, then right click on the lane and select “Note properties…” and add 0.01 extra of length to the lane in the “Length” field

djmike534MemberAre trills only available on expert? They show up fine in game but not on hard. They are charted the same in this area so it’s not that. Would one of the hidden lines 91-94 be for a trill? Line 91 does matches the color of the trill marker. I was also curious if they are often used in customs or are they frowned upon? People are opinionated on the subject in the rock band forums so I thought I’d ask here.

SpenserParticipantI keep getting this error when I try to build my song:
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART KEYS) Difficulty expert: Bad trill slot for gem at [59]; Expected slot 2, got slot 4.
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART KEYS) Difficulty expert: Bad trill slot for gem at [197]; Expected slot 4, got slot 2.
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART KEYS) Difficulty expert: Bad trill slot for gem at [200]; Expected slot 3, got slot 0.
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART KEYS) Difficulty expert: Bad trill slot for gem at [202]; Expected slot 2, got slot 1.
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART REAL_KEYS) Difficulty expert: Bad trill slot for gem at [59]; Expected slot 9, got slot 4.
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART REAL_KEYS) Difficulty expert: Bad trill slot for gem at [59]; Expected slot 9, got slot 16.
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART REAL_KEYS) Difficulty expert: Bad trill slot for gem at [67]; Expected slot 9, got slot 21.
What could this mean. I have a bunch of trill parts in this song and once I can figure out what these mean I’ll be able to fix the other problem spots.

FarottoneKeymasterAre you sure you’re correctly alternating 2 notes?
March 6, 2015 at 2:30 pm #439974
SpenserParticipantI believe so. The keys part sort of is unison with the guitar part where the trills are and I have it set up almost identical (except for the colors) to how the guitar trills are and I haven’t gotten any errors on the guitar part yet. I even checked to see if I had too much length but they’re the same.

SpenserParticipantThat didn’t used to happen, Here’s another one. Sorry about that.
