The C3 Hint Thread: January 9th, 2015 Edition

    Here’s hints for some of the songs being released this week.

    • This song’s lyrics describe a person who was perhaps influenced by Disaster Area. I think he regrets it in the end, though.
    • This monumental song from a band never before seen in Rock Band has one electric guitar and one acoustic guitar solo.
    • This song features an additional vocalist whose various projects have not yet been featured in Rock Band.

    For what it’s worth, Disaster Area is the loudest rock band in the galaxy. Though I’m not sure what that means the song could be.

    Glad to see the hint thread being back, even if only for this week <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

     

    I’ve got no guesses thus far, however.

     

    But! Seeing “monumental song” makes me excited as that makes me think along the lines of some very big hit or influential song from before the 2000s. If this is the likes of a Classic Rock 02 pack I’ll be very happy tomorrow <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

    If this is the metal week that Farottone has been hinting at, the acoustic/electric one could be an Opeth song, as a lot of their stuff could be described as monumental.

    Sorry to burst your bubble, but Opeth isn’t a band never before seen in Rock Band. We have an official DLC song from them.

    I don’t have any guesses but I will say that I think The Deftones are the loudest band I have ever heard. Holy crap, I had buzzing in my ears for 3 days after the show.
