Hi there. I’m charting a song, and after a certain point in the song, I start to have to hit the notes a little early. I’d be really surprised if either my tempo map is bad or my time signature placements got screwed up, because I checked both of those. Also, the metronome lines up fine with the song. I’ve charted many songs for C3 before so I don’t what’s up. Which by the way, this song I’m charting will eventually be released for C3, so it’s a secret. If you can help with the problem though, I’d of course send it to you. If anyone can help, please post or send me a PM. Thanks!
I’d suggest checking and quantizing your beat track, and checking your tempo markings to make sure they’re properly lined up with the grid. Check around where it starts to get off to make sure there isn’t a teeny tiny partial measure that got sandwiched in there somehow – if it seems to skip a measure number, that’s a clear indication. Failing any of that, I’m out of ideas.
Did everything you said, but it shouldn’t hurt to check the tempo markings again. Thanks for the reply.
If you are still having any issue later, PM me the .rpp/audio and I’ll take a look for you. It’s likely something with the tempo map, but just by description it’s impossible to pinpoint where.
Don’t worry, I’ll keep it a secret ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
