I have made a few customs and they always showed up in the Recently Added section just fine. But the last two that I have made are oddly sorted under the RB3 setlist. I have not made any changes to the way I make customs, so I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this issue.
Do they have the same ID as official songs?
Under the Game Data tab in Magma? Nope, it is just the same as the name of the con file. I’ll try changing it and see if anything happens.
It’s impossible for a custom to share id with an official song unless you manually change the id. Official ids use 7 digits magma uses 10 digits.
Can you take a picture of how it shows up in game?

Yeah, here it is: http://i.imgur.com/6G5gEyE.jpg
Have you tried rebuilding your song cache? You’ll lose your custom scores but it’s the best way to fix these kind of things. Granted, this is the first time I see this.
The only time I have seen this is perhaps because no game_origin value was set. Some value is missing.

Do the animations work on this one?
Do the animations work on this one?
Interestingly, no (even though I have set markers with CAT). The band stands around and the singer ends up moving into the crowd and other weird places due to his idle animation.
I spent hours yesterday trying to figure out any differences in my charting from my first two songs to the rest. I remembered that I have been using a very slightly modified version of the C3 template, so I tried making a new song with the C3 template.
The song showed up in recently added! I really don’t know why this would change anything, considering the only modifications I made to the template was making the tracks on the left a bit taller to I wouldn’t have to resize them every time I made a new song.
The other thing I did differently was editing the name of the file path in Magma.
So now I’m going to have to move all the data from my projects to new ones made with the C3 template instead of my C3 template.

It means your song wasn’t tagged as a “RBN” song but something different, which will break animations, it’s the first symptom.
You are about to leave Rhythm Gaming World and access the external songs DB. While no song or file sold for commercially available videogames is hosted there and only fan generated content is allowed, Rhythm Gaming World has no direct control over the database and no files are hosted here. Alright, we had to made you aware of this, now you can visit the database!
