PS3 – Cult and Police song issues

I’m having very good success moving the customs to my PS3.

2 songs are giving me the “Unable to Load Song Skipping” message:

The Police – Wrapped around your finger

The Cult – Love Removal Machine

I tried the original PS3 files from the database.

I also tried reconverting the CON files, but still see the same message.

Is there anything else on my side I should do?

Convert the CON files using encryption method 2 with a 10 second delay, if that fails, use this link, it’s in german, but I only used common sense and the picture to figure out what I’m supposed to do.

In short, take the ps3 *.mid.edat, decrypt it, and “manually” encrypt it using True Ancestor Edat rebuilder.

I’ve found a couple more that I’ll have to try the same technique on.

Would it help to post them in this thread as I fix those or is there a better thread ongoing for tracking these kinds of issues?

Feel free to post those songs in this thread.

I will care about it tonight (if it’s not as much as I fear ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> ).

So you don’t have to fix ’em on your own but sit back and download it later when it’s done and uploaded.

All songs fixed now.

Indeed there was an issue regarding special characters like Ã¶, Ã¼ or Ã¿ combined with our database.

Your investigation was a huge help for me – thanks again for your effort!

I have opened another thread for broken links or damaged files to get a better overview.

If you or anybody else find more issues please feel free to post it there and I will fix it asap.
