For those unfamiliar with this establishment, the Troubadour is a West Hollywood nightclub that served as the primary hangout and first public venue for just about every major act that came out of Southern California in the late 60s and early 70s. Notable alumni include Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, the Eagles, The Byrds, Carly Simon, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Bonnie Raitt, J.D. Souther, Jackson Browne, Buffalo Springfield, and Rod Stewart. It is also noted for hosting the US debut of Elton John and was used by Van Morrison as a location for his ’74 live album.

The Troubadour theme would provide an excellent opportunity to introduce some classic songs and/or artists that are glaringly absent from the Rock Band library. I would love to see the following song pack…

    A Night at the Troubadour:

Linda Ronstadt – It’s So Easy

    Eagles – Take It Easy

Jackson Browne – Running on Empty

    Elton John – Tiny Dancer

Van Morrison – Brown Eyed Girl

Carly Simon – You’re So Vain

Rod Stewart – Stay with Me
