Here’s a video from tonight. I love how my buddy does the screams for this song. It thoroughly kicks my ass on drums (that’s me on the Rolands) but it’s still lots of fun.
This is where I’m always talking about going and where I go. This is where many customs have premiered before their Friday release and many WIPs have been tested. We use my exact setlist there, so that includes a lot of unreleased and never-to-be-released customs not available anywhere else

He is. That’s why I wanted the video. He used to be a regular and then moved to New York. Was in town for a couple of days so I made sure to get him to join us. He also does a mean Serpentine Offering, although he can also sing beyond screamo songs. He’s generally an excellent performer. We all had fun. But no lie, my ears are still ringing from how loud that was.

I used to live there during my middle school years! Lived there for about 6-7 years before packing it up for Nashville 10 years ago. And as far as I know no bars around here have Rock Band nights despite this being “Music City.” Makes me want to go back.
If I’m ever back in the area on a Thursday I need to hit that bar up.
Yep, it’s called Falcon Pub, right across from Nova Southeastern University, if you remember the area. The guy that runs it has been running it since 2007 or whenever the first Rock Band came out. Of course in the last two years it’s been “different” with my help and customs

It’s not that far away from where I used to live, literally three turns and you’re there.
This really is a small world.
I’m gonna have to look around and see if there’s a local spot that’ll do the same thing. My best best right now is a couple of local anime/nerd conventions where I know the game room guy, but even that isn’t a definite (I pitched him the idea of lending them my set, but it has to be cleared by higher-ups first). And even then, that’s only twice a year (one per convention), one of them just passed, and the other might be too soon to do anything.
