Hi, I’m close friends with Febrezed Sniper, and we’ve written several songs that, while not professionally recorded yet, we have .mp3s made from MIDI files, similar to Chaotrope except the quality is not quite as good or even close. However, we were wondering if anyone would be willing to chart one of these songs out for drums. I can provide the mp3 of course as well as a tab file that contains the exact drum part in MIDI notation that can be opened with a freeware program called Tuxguitar if you would like. If you do a good job we’d definitely give a shoutout on our Youtube channel as well as being eternally grateful because since RB was first popular Ross always wanted to know how one of his drum parts would play on Rock Band. Thanks in advance anyone who replies!

Never heard of Febrezed Sniper. Do you mind linking to any of his works, so people who haven’t heard of him get a general idea what you’re going for?

He’s an ace RB drummer. His name is legend (to a hack like me, anyway).

As Sid said, yes, he’s one of the top active RB drummers still. He’s also a really good IRL drummer.

is a link to a drum playthrough of what we’d like charted. If anyone’s up to it I can send PM them the mp3 as well as a tuxguitar file that has the drum part 100% accurately notated in MIDI numbers since he will know if something is charted incorrectly lol. Thanks again!

So it’s just 7 minutes of someone playing drums essentially? Not that it is bad drumming or anything, far from it, but I thought it was going to be a full song from the description of the OP

the whole thing has a guitar part as well, but it’s all MIDI, not professionally recorded (we’re too poor atm and it’s just the two of us for now). I don’t know how this all works but the drums are the only part that I think would be interesting to see charted as the guitar part isn’t necessarily difficult.

Actually, from the sounds of it the drum recording in that video sounded pretty decent and you could record guitar acoustically via the in-line mic plug on a PC and using the demo version of Guitar Rig 5 as a amp, should cost about nothing and sound pretty good with some added bass and post production, which can also be done in free/demo programs
