Supercon 2014 – who’s going?

      Anyone coming to the Miami Beach Convention Center for Supercon 2014?

      I know from here at least C16 and I (and wife and friends) are going Friday-Saturday-Sunday. Anyone else?

       

      I know we don’t have many Florida members here but I also know a lot of people travel the country to attend these things, so maybe we’d meet some forum members?

        Might be off topic but why don’t we have a Rock Band Con? We went to Texas from Missouri for my wifes Blythe Dolls convention. Why not have a Rock Band only convention? When she brought it up to me thinking I’d be upset going to a Doll convention, I told her it would be no different than someone holding a Rock Band convention wanting me to go. The thing is her people do these type of t see it for ugatherings yearly, but at my level of engagement I cant’

            I think we’re just too scattered… Canada well north of the border, Florida, Italy, etc. Even if you made it central like St. Louis, it’s still a dreadful haul for many people.

             

            The RB stage at PAX East is probably as good as it gets – if it’s there next year.

              While I like the idea, it’s not like Rock Band alone is enough to command the crowd for a convention. But if you’re ever in South Florida, come join us! This happened yesterday.

              (I’m the one getting my ass handed to me on the Roland HD-1 kit playing this song on Expert Pro Drums :haw: )

              Extremely packed night with a ridiculous number of performances. Still going on strong now these many years later. And I can also put you in touch with a group of people doing the same in Portland if that’s closer to you.

                  Didn’t know there was more than one. Oregon. The place is called Ground Kontrol Arcade I believe. They do it every Tuesday.

                    I’m an hour outside Portland, Maine. According to Google, I’m 48 hrs outside Portland Oregon. :ohdear:
