So hey, I’m really interested in getting a few of my favourite songs on here but uh… Where does a beginner begin?
I mean, I’ve recently tried to do tempo mapping for Behemoth’s “Slaves Shall Serve” but I kinda get lost and it’s so hard to find out the beats. And yeh, I have tried using a BPM tool, but it just got worse haha.
I’d like to get into the heavier stuff, but I find tempo mapping to be a right pain in the butt. So uh… anyone else good with death metal tempo mapping that can help a brother out?

With something easier. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”> Start out authoring a few simpler songs so you get the hang of it.
You could try Sonic Visualiser’s “Queen Mary Tempo and Beat Tracker” plugin. If it provides results you like, you can export the timings, open a new project in EOF, import those timings, save the project and get a MIDI file you can use as a starting point in Reaper.
So, I got the audio file, put it into Sonic Visualizer and ran the plugin and it came up with a bunch of lines (shown here -> http://imgur.com/p4ySiEF )
Could you explain more in detail how to export these timings to EOF?
