It would make my year if someone could do more songs by The Darkness!
If I had to choose two songs they would be
Love is Only a Feeling (Youtube) and
Growing on Me (Youtube)
I’d be happy with anything by them though. And all I really care about are the guitar tracks.
I’ve only been able to find two of their songs on here. I Believe in a Thing Called Love was already released as a DLC for RB3, and Dinner Lady Arms was done for Rock Band X. Other than that, I haven’t been able to find anything else. It’s a shame because all of their songs, in my opinion, would be so much fun to play. All of them have awesome guitar solos.
Any other Darkness fans on here?
Growing on Me would be awesome. I would never do it FB, but I’ve considered making a G/B custom of it. Most of the stuff from Permission to Land was pretty good. Givin’ Up would be great too. If I had a lick of vocals talent, I’d try and make them FB, but I’ve always hoped someone else would have a go at it.
I’ve been wanting to do the rest of Permission to Land for quite some time. Especially Love is Only a Feeling and Growing On Me.
But don’t hold your breath for either, because you’ll pass out while I jump around between all the other interesting/obscure shit I’m working on.
@funkydunkleman – Happy to know it’s at least being considered! I’d be thrilled even with just G/B.
@MiltoniusPrime – Glad to know it’s on your radar. Permission to Land is amazing. If you do get around to authoring the rest of the album I would be ecstatic!
I had never even heard of The Darkness before they showed up on RB, but I loved the hell out of I Believe in a Thing Called Love. I bought Permission to Land but man, IBIATCL sounds really out of place. Like it should be on a different album altogether.
Anyway, another song I would like by The Darkness is Everybody Have a Good Time.
Also, what is Rock Band X?
@Kemiroch Rock Band X was a custom song pack for fofix by Puppetz and AlBelGim.
I agree, Everybody Have a Good Time would be fun too! Though, if I had to pick a song from the third album, I think Concrete would be my #1 choice.
