Okay. So far, having a few new issues which I wish to work on and get fixed for me.
Firstly, I should say that we recently got a brand new PC (using it right now) but still have the old dial-up internet.
Now for the issues…
The first major issue I’m having is with the process of getting RB3CONs onto my X360. On my old PC, I use modio and do things in a specific way. (Doing things in most other ways seem to screw something up cause when I plug my Flash Drive into the X360, the X360 says it needs to be configured before use, thusly deleting all my info)…
With the new PC, doing the process ANY POSSIBLE way will cause my Flash Drive to go into the state which the X360 will need to configure it first before use, thusly unable to get new customs onto my X360… (I am currently going to my old PC and using it to move my customs but I do not wish to do this plus the old PC will eventually be remove from the household anyways now)…
So would like to know if there is anything which can be done. Maybe getting a new Flash Drive which can be configured better? Or using something else instead of Modio? I also am thinking that Mcafee (which I want to exterminate from this computer, but can’t do so without permission) might be scanning the X360 config’d flash drive and is what screwing things up for me…
Any thoughts?
Secondly, I am having an issue with the song database. Before so, it worked just fine and will display the newest 100 songs. However, I recently used it and it is having issues displaying large number of songs. (It seems fine if I search for a specific song but if I try to search for a specific artist who has a huge list, like Metallica or The Beatles, or try to look at the first 100 newest songs, it seems to have a problem).
This is a minor problem with me though, not something I’m worried about. But any help would be lovely. Also, due to having a new PC, I might be missing a program which runs the list better and that is why I am having issues.
Oh and am using Firefox and my OS is Windows 8.1. I also would like to note that I never once had a problem with Modio, it’s just that my flash drive is picky (due to not being that compatible with the X360 configuration. It’ll configured and work but isn’t fully good and has issues easily), so I might just need to go get a new flash drive for X360 usage… However, would like to know what you guys recommend which flash drive I should get.
June 6, 2014 at 4:17 pm #421884I don’t know if it’s really going to make a difference, but try using Horizon and put customs on it that way. Horizon is very similar to Modio and seems to work way better anyway. If that doesn’t fix it maybe it’s the flash drive that’s dying out or something.

A Verbatim 16 gig retractable usb stick, lifetime warranty
Google Chrome
Horizon V2 to transfer files, very simple for me to use. Never had any luck with Modio or PartyBuffalo

I’ll look into the Verbatim USB stick. The one I’m using is a Kingston 2GB USB flash drive that I got from the library for a cheap price. (It was, “for the moment” type of buy back before I gotten a main 32GB flash drive that I have now. Note: I will NOT use that 32GB flash drive for my X360, no way).
Also, Modio is simple for me… Horizon I had troubles with honestly.

That will at least help you narrow down whether or not its the 2 GB stick that’s gone bad, and you can always format it again afterwards.
I mean, unless you just want to go out and buy more flash drives. I have a billion of them on the go personally.
