    Hello,

it would be awesome to see/play the songs of Böhse Onkelz on Rock Band!

Most of you may not understand german, but you should give it a try, they have very nice and interesting songs.

    For example:

Auf Gute Freunde https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM-11EVGPQk (Here’s to us!)

    Nur die besten Sterben jung

    (Only the best die young)

Ihr sollt den Tag nicht vor dem Abend loben https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCjldKQg0t4 (Do not count your chickens before they are hatched)

Buch der Erinnerung https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UavROBqjBxw (Book of Memories)

I’m trying to the songs on my own, I started with Auf Gute Freunde.

Fortunately, there are some midis for the songs, with seperate lines for drums, guitar etc.

But I don’t know, how I could convert them to “normal rockband notes”. :ohdear:

Is there even a way to convert the midi? Or do I have to write the notes manual on my own?`

Sorry if the question was already asked.

      Read the RBN docs:

The hardest part for beginners is getting the tempo map right. You’ll have to tempo map the real song before you can import a MIDI.

Since you’d be transcribing real guitar and bass notes to 5-lanes, there’s no direct translation. Sometimes having an original MIDI makes it easier to do 5-lane, and sometimes it’s easier to just do it from scratch.

For vocals, it’s only moderately useful – you need to chop out consonant sounds like s, t, etc. MIDIs rarely have the correct slides and syllables.

For drums, a MIDI can be genuinely useful. You just have to shift the general MIDI notes to the correct RB notes, and adjust for tom drums as needed.
