Off to work, but first, hints for (some!) of this week’s songs. More may be added. Maybe. I don’t know.
- If you combined the second word of each of this band’s names, you’d more or less have the title of an on-disc bonus song. This track will also be a bit of an indirect nostalgic throwback for Newgrounds fans.
- Having made their Rock Band, RBN, and GHtoRB3 debuts with tracks from their first three albums, this band of white guys makes their C3 custom debut with a track that is probably not what you or I were expecting.
- Charlie wouldn’t want to taste this artist’s fizzy lifting drinks, though he’d probably be fine with sampling the debut single of their fifth album.
- This supergroup was really only a supergroup in hindsight, but the debut single off their debut album really satisfies.
- At least it wasn’t translation. Translation. Translation. Trans-
- Finally, we have a pack of songs from an act that played the first gig at a famous London venue and the last gig at yet another famous London venue.
Enjoy!

Just to clarify, is that London, Ohio or London, Kentucky?

May 28, 2014 at 3:32 pm #421265Im guessing supergroup song is slither by velvet revolverI’m thinking it’s Temple of the Dog, because Eddie Vedder blew up as a member of Pearl Jam after it was disbanded.
“Hunger Strike” would be phenomenal to duet…

Haha, as a Kentuckian, this makes me happy, cause their is NOTHING in London, KY.

I’m thinking A Day To Remember, but with something weird, like Golden Eagle, or Making History.

Oh man, anything off ‘Common Courtesy’ would be awesome…especially “Violence (Enough is Enough)”. :-X

Yah man, I wish. Now that I think about it though, I don’t think anything from their first album has hit any music games. Bummer lol
May 30, 2014 at 2:28 pm #421406Spoilers for the hints, for anyone wondering.
If you combined the second word of each of this band’s names, you’d more or less have the title of an on-disc bonus song. This track will also be a bit of an indirect nostalgic throwback for Newgrounds fans.Bad Brains’ was originally a jazz fusion ensemble as Mind Power. Brains + Power ~= Brainpower! Also, the awesome riff in this track was sampled in Hive’s “Ultrasonic Sound”, which Newgrounds fans may recognize as the background music used in Pico’s School.
Having made their Rock Band, RBN, and GHtoRB3 debuts with tracks from their first three albums, this band of white guys makes their C3 custom debut with a track that is probably not what you or I were expecting. The Devil Wears Prada, as guessed, with an… interesting cover.
Charlie wouldn’t want to taste this artist’s fizzy lifting drinks, though he’d probably be fine with sampling the debut single of their fifth album.R. Kelly’s “Ignition” was off the album Chocolate Factory. Also, R. Kelly.
This supergroup was really only a supergroup in hindsight, but the debut single off their debut album really satisfies.Correctly guessed as Temple of the Dog’s “Hunger Strike”, as the component bands really only ‘made it’ after this. The latter half of the hint is a nod to Snickers’ slogans and thus an indirect hint to the title.
At least it wasn’t translation. Translation. Translation. Trans-Lost in the Echo. At least it wasn’t Lost in Translation.
Finally, we have a pack of songs from an act that played the first gig at a famous London venue and the last gig at yet another famous London venue.Bon Jovi opened the O2 and closed Wembley
