Journey Pack: Progress Chart
###########################
Green = Expert Finished ….. Yellow = Work in Progress ….. Red = Not Started Yet
* = denotes recent updates and/or changes
– No reductions. They will be done after expert charts are validated and reviewed (to avoid unnecessary extra charting time when fixing).
– 5 Lane keys will be done after as well, once the Pro Key chart is reviewed (same reason as above).

Reserved List:
Jackson Browne – The Load-Out / Stay
Five for Fighting – 100 Years
May 21, 2014 at 4:25 pm #420762C3 does not do re-releases of any Harmonix content, so Caravan is out. Headlong Flight was an official C3 release by BearzUnlimited in January.
I’ll put the other songs, including “Faithfully”, on your reserved list. Please try to have at least one full-band, all-difficulties song ready in the next few weeks, or we’ll remove this thread — The Show Floor is more about finished customs than reservation lists.

May 25, 2014 at 7:09 pm #421053If nobody else volunteers to pick Faithfully up, I will. Let’s give this 10-15 days ’cause I have a lot on my plate and I’d reather someone else pitch in, but if nobody shows up I’ll do it.

– Added in Key-LH Animations. They are in no way the real part, but I had little room to work with due to the range of the RH part, and I really didn’t want to “fake” the right as I would have no idea how to make it look good. I can offer up the sheet music I have myself which has the left if someone would like to try and make the Animations better, but I basically just “mocked” the left hand using the lower 7 tones of the track (the rhythms are exact at least, and it shows progression and sound movement).
– Fixed some missing notes in the RealKeys-Expert chart
– Fixed the RealKeys-Expert lane shifts. I realized that I actually needed lane shifts, so I put them in. Originally, I saw that the range went up to G3, and I completely forgot the song is in E-Major so I had G#’s. I added in shifts (only a few and they are only one “range” movement up).
– Fixed some of the drum animations/text events
June 11, 2014 at 12:16 am #422218Added in Key-LH Animations.I wouldn’t spend more than 10 seconds on this. I’ve never charted anything in LH keys, and RB3 sooooo rarely shows the keyboard player clearly that it isn’t worth the time. Nightmare Lyra had a neat idea: just copy RH keys to LH keys.

To clarify on that, I would say to copy the same part during chordy parts where you hear there is two-hand chords, as nobody is gonna be able to notice the chord is technically wrong for the Left Hand anyways and it’s just for animation. Though yeah, if you wanna chart LH animations it’s nothing wrong with it, it just takes a bit of time without it ever being all that visible to the player.
June 11, 2014 at 1:46 am #422230Was just lame that, due to the range of the song (E2 – G#3), there wasn’t anywhere to do them.
It’s really played with octaves in like left like a lot of rock songs, and I would have been fine just doing single notes, but alas I could not.
It usually cycles between octaves downward of B, G#, F#, E… so I just put single* notes on E2, Eb2, C#2, and C2 (to try and preserve the key as best I could).
Like you said though, who really sees them.
June 11, 2014 at 6:47 pm #422274LH and RH animations only share the middle octave (high for LH, low for RH), their other octave is not used by the other so you technically have 3 octaves to chart animations on

You’re telling me that even though both say “C2 – C4″… in actuality it’s represented as:
Left = C1 – C3
Right = C2 – C4
With them both sharing the octave C2 – C3?
June 11, 2014 at 11:24 pm #422291Actually, it’s
LH = C1-C2
RH = C2-C3
With both sharing C2
June 11, 2014 at 11:28 pm #422293You are using C# as that entire octave correct?
ie, C2 ==> C2, C#2, … Bb2, B2
June 28, 2014 at 4:38 pm #423605Picking up Faithfully. I’ll be working on it probably next week end, so if you have an update version or if you plan on polishing it up, please do. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
June 28, 2014 at 5:17 pm #423608Yeah, I’ll get a last update from my side out there either Tuesday or Wednesday this week. I had a few more tweaks to the drum chart and such I had to made, and then had to touch up the bass a little.
I’ve been busy working on the drum charts for the Clockwork Angels album, and almost forgot about this aside from a few quick updates.
July 4, 2014 at 5:05 pm #424056Downloading the file, will work on it over the week end.
