      I am re-doing my first song, Eminem’s Legacy, fixing the vocals, overdrive, and just other basic things I’ve learned since my first go-round. I have run into a weird problem though, at about 2:23 into the song Eminem says:

      parts that I find in the gar- bage

      but in game it shows as

      parts that I ____ in ___ ___ ____

      They are classified as lyrics, and markers are lined up. I’ve even deleted them and retried, but still nothing.

      If anyone wants to take a look, here’s the reaper project, and working con.

      I hope someone has had the problem before and it’s just an easy fix. Thanks.

        I expected this to be something easy, like spaces after the #, but it’s not – looks ship-shape to me. Maybe try increasing the scroll speed?

          I went in thinking “Pft, it’s gotta be a text marker instead of lyrics” and then got stumped for 10 minutes before admitting defeat…

            Edit: Taking a peek since I just noticed there’s an .rpp.

            As a test, consider splitting that phrase in half. It’s possible it could be getting overloaded and causing weird effects. You have 32 notes/lyric events in that one phrase. Nyx’s suggestion of scroll speed may also help.

            I’ve seen this before but I honestly don’t remember what I did to fix it. My initial thought was the presence of extra + lyric events (from, say, deleting a slide or converting something to a talkie), but that’s not the case. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

              Wow I appeared to have stumped three veterans. How rare is that.

              I split the phrase and increased the scroll speed. Still the same.

              I ended up just attaching the invisible words to the ones that worked. Not the ideal situation, but they’re talkies, and I don’t want to spend all day on this. Now it looks like;

              ____ ___ ____ _ ___________

              parts that I-find in the-gar-bage

              ____ ___ ____ _ ___________

              Good enough for me. Better dirty words than missing words.

              espher, if you ever happen to remember that fix, feel free to follow up. Thanks for trying you guys.
