I’m a bit curious… How does one set it up so it doesn’t automatically make all notes as pro pieces when playing pro drums?
All my songs had done this so far and really am curious onto why… I always chart normal drums on the normal EMHX and the pro notes where it says “PRO Toms” near the top… So ye’h. Am I doing something wrong?

If you’re playing Pro Drums and you have enabled the appropriate cymbals in-game, it should work if your chart is set up as you describe (expert has notes charted to the right colours, and the markers are placed in the appropriate PRO row only where a pad/tom hit occurs).
If they’re all showing up as pads in-game (but look fine in the REAPER preview) that would hint to me that you don’t have your cymbals enabled. I can’t remember offhand where the option is but hit Start and start looking around in there. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”> Of course, if you don’t HAVE any, then you can’t see them that way in-game, but I’m assuming you do and have had these work with other songs before. Possible some setting got reset.

And normal notes down below will be used for normal drums ONLY?
If it is something on MY PART, then I’m good. I rarely drum so I don’t mind it myself but for people who normally would drum, I kinda do want my charts to be as they should be.
Though I should say that I never chart the cymbals on normal drums (Thusly where the pro notes are at, it is empty down below) as I am afraid of it not being accepted like that. BUT with my newest song, I am charting the pro part both on normal drums and on pro drums since the song is purely cymbals with the drums and would be boring as heck without the cymbals on normal drums.

The pro notes on top combined with the same color gem below mean something is a TOM. Otherwise, it’s a CYMBAL. That’s all there is to it.

This is correct.
