Hi, I’m sorry to ask so many questions but I suppose it’s because the first song is always the hardest.
I imported my track onto Rock Band, everything worked well aside from the vocalist animations. His mouth was not moving to the lyrics. Now I back-tracked the MIDI and I have confirmed that the [play] animation was indeed inserted into PART_VOCALS. After 3 attempts/tests in figuring out how to fix this issue (moving text events around slightly for the most part), now whenever I import the new file(s), the game would freeze JUST before the game table loads up (venue loads). Now a track where I could play and have a minor gripe over I turned into a track I’m unable to play at the moment.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated to address these two issues I’m having.

January 8, 2014 at 7:04 pm #411860I moved out my cache. It loads again, but there are no venue shots, it’s just one camera shot the entire time. There’s animation from everyone but the vocalist, the vocalist is just idle and roaming around.
January 8, 2014 at 7:06 pm #411861I had a similar issue where I forgot to unmute the vocal track in reaper before exporting the .MID before recompiling the CON with the new MID in LeFluffie. Don’t know if you are making a brand new CON with Magma or fixing an existing the LeFluffie, but I had that same issue and that was the issue.
January 8, 2014 at 7:09 pm #411862I have checked and my PART_VOCALS were unmuted.
January 8, 2014 at 7:17 pm #411863I’ve tried it again and the camera shots and animation were back… okay then.
But I’m back to where I was now. The vocalist is still not lip synching.
January 8, 2014 at 7:21 pm #411865Is [play] a text event? Also, lipsync animations: your singer can lip sync while being idle. If he/she doesn’t lipsync it’s a dryvox problem, if it does lipsync it’s an animation problem.
January 8, 2014 at 7:25 pm #411866Yes, [play] is a text event. I’m assuming the problem is with the dryvox.
January 10, 2014 at 2:54 am #411948I’ve muted Harmony 1. Does that matter? (It’s a song without harmonies I should mention)
Also, how do you import lyrics? I’m selecting the notes, pressing Shift+L and nothing happens, just a failed action “ding” sound.

If it’s a song without harmonies you don’t need anything but PART VOCALS for vocals in your project. You need to download all RBN plugins and actions if you don’t have them (as it appears is the case).
January 10, 2014 at 4:35 pm #411986So then I’m completely lost to why my vocalist isn’t lip synching.

January 10, 2014 at 4:46 pm #411988I’ve used the blank 16,000 Htz dryvox file Magma provided.
I’ve also found the import lyrics action. For some reason, it wasn’t registered with a hotkey.
