I have at least 2 songs that showed up as demo in game. Taylor Swift’s ‘we are never ever getting back together’ and OneRepublic’s ‘all the right moves’. How do I fix this?

That is weird, given that most of us have those songs and they work as intended.

In any case, that’s caused by one byte in the file being a 0 instead of a 1. Open the files in Le Fluffie’s Quick DTA Editor, close the DTA file without making any changes and let it do its thing. Among other things, it’ll unlock the file so that problem will be fixed.

That’s pretty handy to know that Lefluffie can change those bytes!

It has always done it if you open a file in Song Explorer and change from LIVE to CON or CON to LIVE, and save, it’ll do that too.

So after that, which file should I use? The original or the backup?

The backup is a copy made before a change is made. The original filename is the now-updated file.

Hi, Khayman. Quick note: Generally, you don’t want to type in ALL CAPS on the Internet. It makes you look like you’re shouting. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

We use a special C3-specific version of Le Fluffie developed by our own TrojanNemo, and it’s on version 2.5, not version 7.0. You can download it right here.

(And Nemo scoffed when I said we should name the tool something other than “Le Fluffie” after all of his changes…)
