My name is Shadow of the Server and I decided to give authoring a try. Feel free to edit my customs if you want or message me if there any bugs.
My thread for completed songs:
Brave New World is a song from a Japan-exclusive crossover game named Namco x Capcom. People who have played Project X Zone might recognize this song. This is one of those songs I wanted to chart but it is kind of tough to do due to a lack of “a proper MIDI.” (The only one I can find is an arranged version.) I’m not confident on my charting on this one compared to “Jet Lag” but feedback is appreciated. Also, I am willing to accept any help for those who wanted to chart the pro keys for this song. Same progress as Jet Lag: no harmonies, no overdrive, expert only and auto-generated venue track.

It’s a likely possibility though. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
January 16, 2014 at 2:20 am #412301For today’s update, I bring you two customs that are currently in progress.
I chose to chart this song because I thought it might be simple to do. Having a MIDI file of this song as a reference makes charting easier to do. So far, it is expert only, animations and camera are auto-generated, overdrive have not been implemented at all and I have not started harmonies yet.

January 25, 2014 at 3:32 am #412873Hello, I found out about C3 this week, I didn’t even knew there was a way to play customs on a regular Xbox 360.
I always charted stuff on the Wii, so I started making customs again. I’m doing Crasher Vania from Starbomb so I can pratice my Vocal Charting Skills. I just finished Vocals/Harmonies and I’m actually thinking about doing more Starbomb/NSP songs. I’m not good at charting chords for Pro Keys, but I can figure them out whatching those instrumental covers that “indenemaPIMP” posts on youtube. Or even ask for his MIDIs
I can give you feedback with NSP song or even help you if you’re going to do more of these. I’m probably going to try charting “The Decision” after finishing Crasher Vania.

I would appreciate the feedback since that was my first “crappy” attempt at a custom.
February 5, 2014 at 3:04 am #413498I would appreciate the feedback since that was my first “crappy” attempt at a custom.Got a bit carried away and basically remade the whole song, keeping the original timming for the notes
Vocals: The verses were too high, and so were the harmonies. The choruses were mostly right, just changed some stuff. Danny does not use any kind of pitch correction software, so some os the note he sings are in-between pitches, so I’ve added some talkies where that happens (And also on the “And Ninja Brian is Fat” line) The timming was pretty much spot on, but I prefer to snap the notes to the grid, so it becomes more natural to sing, than having to follow his timming exactly by miliseconds, but that’s just me.
Drums: No missing notes, but it does not have any toms, since it’s a really basic “drum machine”. Most of the toms on the original charts were just kicks. Its possible to hear a constant hi-hat during the verses and choruses, but it’s just a programmed beat, it would be very awkard to play it, going realy fast from hi-hat to crash+snare constantly
Guitar: Riff was perfect, with the forced hammer-ons and all, really good. I was really in doubt on the chorus so I’ve searched for a Guitar Pro of the song, and found one, so I used it to make the chorus more realistic.
Bass: The bass was playing Keys notes, and since I’ve found the Guitar Pro of the song, I charted Keys and Pro Keys and changed bass to a regular bass.
Here’s the rb3con: http://www.mediafire.com/download/yyxrdhnxjmov36g/ninjaspt_rb3con
If you don’t like something I can send you the RPP+MP3 so you can post the modifications you want ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

13.3 “fast” 5/64 should be shorter
14.2 “high” 3/64 shorter
15.4 “plode” 3/64 shorter
17.3 “guys” should be 3/64 shorter
19.1 “things” 6/64 shorter – anything longer than 3/64 is game-breaking
19.4 “sauce” 3/64 shorter
20.4 “cause” slide is 3/64 too early – syllables should almost always be at least 2/64 long, and the gap in the slide at least 2/64. This applies to all of your slides.
22.4 “sex” 5/64 too long
If you’re not using scrub mode, learn to. Tube timing is a problem through the whole song, and I’ve only listed the first few.
Use hyphenator for your syllables – “go- nna” should be “gon- na”, etc.
Some pitches:
35.1.50 not talky: we’re(Bb) gon-(Bb) na(G) rock(G) you(F)
62.1.50 we’re(F)
64.2 the(G)
65.1.50 which(F)
66.1.50 not talky: No(G#) need(G#) to(F) an-(G#) swer(F)
67.2.50 ny(G) Sex-(G)
68.3 of(G#) +(Eb)
70.1.50 And(F) Nin-(Bb) ja(C#) Bri-© an’s(G#) fat(F)
74.1.18 didn’t is two syllables – use hyphenator
75.2 stupid is two syllables
76.2 ugly is two syllables
Install CARV – it’ll point out mistakes in capitalization like 34.4 “To-“, etc.
