Convour’s WIP: Tool – Sober FINAL UPDATE (Probably) 2/16

      Yo guys, this custom’s just about done! After a couple months of working on this off-and-on, clintilona (vocals and overdrive), Nunchuck (reductions), and I (everything else <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />) have put together this custom of Sober by Tool! The only other thing that needs to be done is to make a custom venue. I think I’m done with this custom for now, so if someone does decide to make a custom venue, just let me know! So, enjoy!

      CHANGELOG

      v1 – Expert drums fully charted, along with bass intro

      v2 – Cleaned drums up a little, added drum animation. Expert guitar now fully charted. Radio Edit version now available.

      v3 – Long awaited update. Finished expert bass. Probably cleaned other instruments as well.

      v4 – Thanks to clintilona, vocals are now charted and overdrive for all instruments was added.

      v5 – Difficulty reductions thanks to Nunchuck! Radio Edit version now updated to v5 as well (including vocals) <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

      – Make custom venue

        I’m almost certain that I have a custom of this already. Still don’t have Sober though, which was maybe their biggest song and the one that first got them noticed by the masses.

          I just checked the database for Tool songs. Only ones we have are Vicarious, Schism, and Parabola. Unless it’s somewhere else, I’m pretty sure that this hasn’t been done yet.

           

          I’m was planning on doing Sober after this, but I can try to work on both side-by-side.

           

          EDIT: Just searched the forums for tool. Apparently there’s more on here than what’s in the song database. I will change this and start working of Sober instead.

            I think there was a RB2 custom of Sober done a long time ago that was drums only. You have chosen an awesome song to work on. Looking forward to it.

              Finally someone is doing Sober!

               

              Awesome song and the most well known song by Tool. I was shocked that nobody did it yet as it was their biggest song.

                    @Convour: i just looked & it seems like i did a vocals chart without harmonies for this (my cousin is a huge tool fan). i can pass it along after i add overdrive & sync it up with your chart.

                        Just wanted to say thanks for doing this song. This is the top song from Tool that I wanted in this game. I played the Pro Drums chart and its pretty spot on. Just needs overdrive charted. Keep up the great work! :c00l:
