Issue in Magma?

Hey guys. I am trying to do another GH conversion and am getting the errors below when I try to Build in Magma. Now I have gotten the “Chord gems do not start simultaneously” plenty of times before and have always been able to go to that position, find the notes/gems/chords and fix the problem. Except, this time, at any of the positions below there are no notes. I have tried making sure the gems that are near those positions all start simultaneously and am still getting these errors. Anyone have any idea what is up? There is a link to my Reaper project below as well to see what I am talking about. Thanks for any help you can offer.

1) You do have notes there. You will get a chord error even if, as in this case, you have single notes that overlapse the next note (at 49.4 you have a red gem overlapping the next one). Check for overlapping notes in the measure flagged by Magma.
2) Watch out for the illegal hopo notes for M and E.
On a side note:
3) You have notes on a 1/64th grid, sure about that?
4) There’s no space between the end of a sustain and the following note in all of the song.

1. I see notes at 49.4.00, 49.4.50 and 49.4.75 but none that actually start/end at 49:4:361 so that is why I was confused. There are 2 red gems (on expert) within in 49.4. Which of those red gems is overlapping another gem? The second red appears to end right before the yellow at 50 and the first red ends well before any the next green gem. I can see the last red is close to the yellow but doesn’t seem to overlap. I guess I don’t see it?
Then in 113.1 nothing appears to even come close to overlapping (same goes for 118.2 and 121.4)
On 121.4, does it have anything to do with the fact that there is a red sustain that begins at 121.4.50 on E,M, and H but on expert a green note begins there and ends but is followed by a sustain starting at 121.4.67?
2. Roger that. I don’t know if this was something GH did that RB does not allow but I still need to go in an clean up the charts some more since these are the GH charts.
3. I know it should be set to 1/16th (I watched the “Let’s Author” video!) but I guess the GH chart(s) I copied over were on a 1/64th grid. To make them 1/16th do I have to literally change/adjust/move every single note that does not start/end on the 1/16th grid or is there some setting in Reaper that will automatically make the notes conform to the 1/16th grid?

Obviously you’re not overlapping notes yourself, you know better than that. But sometimes notes are note placed *exactly* on grid, and if you create a 1/16th note that is ever so slightly off grid, it’s gonna offend the note placed 1/16th later. At M49, do this: take a close look at the red note, select that note and the following one, Q for note position AND note ending and watch as the red note shrinks.

Well, actually I’m more confused by why notes start on a 1/64th grid. I mean, is it how they are in GH? That’s gross.

I would align them to the nearest 1/16th or 1/32nd grid line if, I repeat if, it’s a matter of GH not complying with the common sense “author intention over sloppiness” rule. Can Reaper do that for you? Quantizing could fix that, but since they’re not many, go for a case by case approach.Also, the MIDI action “Shorten notes one grid unit” can help you deal with too long sustains, if used with caution.
