      Hey guys.

       

      If you’re not aware, our own MrMet2087 has been creating a bunch of video game songs on his non-C3 release thread (here).

      While his work is not up to C3 standards and it’s generally not even done attempting too much accuracy, he’s definitely hit gold a couple of times with some of his selection.

       

      I worked on fixing up (took considerably amount of work) the Super Mario Bros. song and am currently working on doing the Max Payne Theme (from scratch, but inspired by his posting of his version).

      So at this point I am considering releasing these two through C3 either on October 25 or November 8th, depending on what happens for the planned Halloween release.

       

      Is anyone interested in charting some other video game songs to go along with them? I’m open to anything, but obviously something with as much of a full band as possible would be better…but hell I’ll take the tetris russian dance if one of you will chart it <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

       

      I would also love a second set of eyes on the Super Mario Bros. song, even after all my work on it I’m not confident it’s up to C3 standards yet.

        Also if anyone wants to do any of the songs I’ve already done an fix them up to perfection and needs some of the materials I’ve used, just PM me and I’ll send you whatever you want. I have absolutely no issues with anyone taking anything I’ve done and fixing it up, or like Trojan is doing with Max Payne, completly starting over and doing it his own way.

          Not sure if I can manage to finish it in such a short time, but I would have loved to have the Silent Hill 1 Theme up to C3 standards, so I could try and give that a shot

              Updated the OP with newer information.

               

              Given what’s on the schedule, we’re moving this to October 25th for the time being and if more songs pop-up for the Halloween release, it’ll get pushed back to November 8th.

               

              So, with that extra time in mind, anyone else want to chip in?

                I might be able to do “Grass Stains”, a remix of the Grasstown theme from Cave Story that was featured in the Cave Story Remix Project. If anyone here has experience with old versions of Cubase and/or a large library of VSTis, that would help — the artist gave me the Cubase project for it and all of the stuff he recorded himself, but not any of the VSTis he used.
