USE THIS VIZUALISER THEME! – https://www.mediafire.com/?nnqrerac828f617
So, with the Scotland pack being planed, I thought I would just put this out here: how about a pack of Norwegian songs for the 17th of May next year (Norway’s independence day)? Norway of course is a big name in the Metal scene, hosting such legendary bands as Mayhem, Dimmu Borgir, Emperor and Immortal, as well as pop acts like A-Ha. We would also have a lot of good time to figure out everything due to the release being next year ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
Some songs I think would work well:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Norwegian_bands
METAL
Mayhem – Freezing Moon (if the audio becomes too messy, perhaps a live version instead?)
Emperor –
Immortal –
(aka. that song with the amazingly awful music video)
Gromth ft. Eli Solli-Tangen –
(Eurovision Song Contest semifinalist in Norway)
Keep of Kalessin – The Dragontower (same as Alone)
SHINING – Helter Skelter (Jazz mixed with Industrial and Black Metal, dat sax and drums)
NOT METAL
A-Ha –
Ida Maria –
Turbonegro –
(dem guitar solos)
Animal Alpha –
(known from Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters and Burnout: Revenge)
Edvard Grieg –
(the classical piece, whatever version will do)
Jokke & Valentinerne –
(dat guitar)
Kvelertak – Blodtørst (there is a old custom of this in the spreadsheet Farrotone made, might be possible to fix up?)
BEING WORKED ON:
Röyksopp – Poor Leno (Bearzunlimited)
Ram-Zet – R.I.P. (Gigakoops)
Savant – How I Roll (Gigakoops)
Ylvis –
(Gigakoops)
El Caco – Substitute (Lowlander2)
Dimmu Borgir –
(Nightmare Lyra)
DumDum Boys –
(Nightmare Lyra)
Nightmare Lyre – In The Hall of The Mountain King (Edvard Grieg cover) (Nightmare Lyra)
Thoughts and ideas?
(Also all the Black Metal songs needs to overuse the photocopy post process effect in the venue ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” /> )

That goes together like ordering a Hurricane, a bucket of chicken wings, sushi, and foie gras.

Some variation within the Black Metal fest is a bad thing?
Also added another song to the suggestions, Animal Alpha’s “Bundy”, known from Burnout: Revenge and Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters
August 23, 2013 at 9:12 pm #405039I’m cool with themed packs. I love a gimmick.
Is there any pre-RB3 content from Norway that may be worth putting out a special “mini” RBHP update for?
Edit: Oh, of course some of the RBN 1.0 stuff would work.

Yeah, both the Emperor songs and the Dimmu Borgir one, especially the Dimmu Borgir one and “Inno A Satana”, are in dire needs of harmony upgrades. We also have “Wasted Again” by Turbonegro, official DLC, and “Give It to Me” by The Cocktail Slippers, from the RB2 free 20 songs pack.

December 27, 2013 at 2:52 pm #411253Added a few more suggestions
December 27, 2013 at 3:28 pm #411254I could see myself devoting the time to an Einherjer song from Odin Owns Ye All.
Or maybe the song Slaves by Scariot.

Also divided into “Metal” and “Non Metal” for your consideration
March 11, 2014 at 11:39 am #415406Planing to chart “Splitter Pine” myself as well as either that Emperor or Dimmu Borgir song (I doubt I have time for both, but time will tell). Any more songs would be greatly appreciated though and I hope some of you will at least take a listen to some of my suggestions and consider doing one of them. Gigakoops is doing “The Fox”.
March 11, 2014 at 12:02 pm #415407If you see no trouble on the horizon for the pack would you schedule it so that we can see what lies ahead?
