So I’m charting a Drum and Bass song. I’m trying to get the lights to do the “stomp” on each kick, and snare. But when I export the MIDI, and try to run it in Magma, it spits out an error saying…
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (VENUE): Bad MIDI note 48 at [27]
I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong, can somebody please help me?
Thank you
go to measure 27. is there a note on 48? that can’t go there. delete it. as simple as that ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
Interesting effect,
Are we supposed to input [lighting (stomp)] Then after that input [next] to turn off then [next] again to turn on?
I’ve always avoided stomp too because of how ambiguous its instructions are, but I believe that’s how it works.
Thank you guys for the help ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> I fixed it ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I came across this video demonstrating what the lighting effects can do with the [next] event. Then shows the stomp effects.
RBN2 Lighting Calls and Post-Processing effects used with Stomp
“This video focuses on the different lighting calls you can use in RBN2 and also shows all of the post-processing effects when used with lighting_stomp.
For the manual lighting, I’m using only the [next] event to cycle through the keyframes at 8th note speed, then 16ths, then 32nds. Never found much use for [first] or [prev].
Blackout_slow and Flare_slow don’t seem to work as intended but you can still get the same effect by fading out of the previous lighting call.”
