drummerockbandMemberSince it was possible for TrojanNemo to edit Le Fluffie to work better with RB3, I was wondering if you could do something similar like that to Magma. I mean like edit the code in the program to allow songs longer than 10 minutes for example. I was just wondering if that kind of thing was possible. I know it’s a different program, but it’s still a cool idea if it could be accomplished.

PikminGuts92ParticipantI was able to modify Magma to accept pro g/b tracks and build them into an .rba file but the way I did it replaced acceptance of a few of the pro keys tracks. So it’s not ideal. If I can do that then I’m sure it’s possible to unlock the ten minute cap somehow.

I didn’t modify the LeFluffie EXE with some hacking magic. it would be impossible to do the amount of stuff I’ve done that way. I just downloaded the code and went to work on it on Visual Studio, using the same language it was coded in (C#).
Magma is proprietary and under lock and key. we would LOVE (you secret HMX spy that loves us and is reading this, LOVE) to get our hands on the source code so we can modify some things and add new features we sorely need. but unless we get that somehow, we’re stuck for the most part.

Right, Nemo, what is THAT supposed to mean, uh? (chuckles)

OddbrotherParticipantWe can always do it manually, but it would obviously require swift timing and knowledge of where Magma is processing your song at.
