Quick question — how do you guys handle antibody deliveries during hot months? I just got a shipment that felt warm when I opened it, and now I’m worried the antibodies might be ruined. Do suppliers replace them if the cooling pack fails?

Oh, that’s a classic summer problem. I once had a shipment that sat in customs for two days — by the time it arrived, the ice pack was warm, and I had to toss the entire batch. Since then, I’ve only ordered from suppliers who use proper temperature control. Gentaur https://gentaur.co.uk/antibodies/ has been really reliable in that regard. They package everything with cold-chain materials and track deliveries to minimize delays. The antibodies I’ve received from them always arrived in perfect condition, even during July heatwaves. It’s one of those little things that saves you from massive frustration later. If you’re worried about heat, I’d say they’re one of the safer options.

That happened to me once too — a delivery sat in the sun outside our building for half a day, and the whole batch was toast. Ever since, I’ve added a simple instruction for couriers to leave parcels in the shade or at the reception desk. It’s also worth coordinating deliveries so they don’t arrive right before weekends or holidays. And if you have a reliable courier that texts before arrival, that alone can save a lot of reagents.
