Apple iCloud backup never started syncing

      Attempted to back up my iPhone to iCloud overnight, but this morning everything still shows “Last Backup: Never.” I reached out through Apple’s online support form but haven’t received a confirmation or troubleshooting steps. Has anyone experienced a complete iCloud sync failure and eventually seen their backup start working? I’d really like to know what provoked the resolution.

Among the feedback, many users achieved results after including device model, iOS version, and a screenshot of the “Never” backup screen all in one message. I did exactly that—packed those three details and image into my support submission. Within 24 hours, I received a reply suggesting disabling then re-enabling iCloud in settings and signing out of my Apple ID. After performing those steps, the backup kicked in immediately. Offering full diagnostic context at once appeared to guide their team to a fast and effective solution.
