  • Any chance you could do one more Riot B-side? I absolutely adore the song Decoy (it might be my favorite Paramore song and I love the band).

Alright it’s officially out now. Time to get crackin <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

So if it’s not Funeral for a Friend I’m pretty sure the only remaining bands on the soundtrack from Britain are The Futureheads and The Ordinary Boys

So The Futureheads – Decent Days and Nights

    Or

The Ordinary Boys – Over the Counterculture

Both can be described as pop-rock/indie, so there’s really no way to distinguish it based on your hints.

Here’s the hints for next release.

These songs all have something in common – they were all featured in a thing. I’ve previously authored another song that was also in this thing. Also, not all of these songs are guaranteed to happen, depending on how much time and motivation I have, but ideally I’ll do them all.

EDIT: Another song that fits into this theme has suddenly grown on me a lot, and has taken the spot of another song I had planned. This song is still a possibility, but has been moved down in priority, so it might not happen. There’s now a new hint to guess at!

    Definitely Happening

    • A rather obscure single from the first album of an English indie/pop-rock band who recently released their first album after a split several years ago. (edit: obscure in America, I should say, as I’ve realized that they’re more well-known in their home country)
    • It’s always been a burning question in my mind why we’ve never gotten this popular song by a Scottish indie rock band.
    • This emo band later turned to a more alt rock/pop-punk sound, but still released many standout tracks like this one from their fifth album.

    Probably Happening

    • This rap-rock single was made an animated music video featuring a rebellious teen becoming a war hero.
    • The shortest song from the first album of one of today’s most popular rock bands – their sound has changed significantly since this record.
    • This song comes from a band who, rather interestingly for a pop-punk band, featured violins. Two songs from the same album as this were released as official DLC.

    Hopefully Happening

    • A catchy track from a little-known German pop-punk band who have been together for over two decades.
    • This pop-punk single features a catchy synth riff and has a video featuring a very edible love story.
    • Another pop-punk/emo track with a catchy synth riff, this one comes from the first album of a band who recently went on indefinite hiatus.
    • A single from a short-lived 2000s punk band who only released two albums – they announced their reunion five years ago and promised new material, but only released 3 songs since then.

So yeah, would be cool to see some guesses come in! I don’t think it should be too hard to figure them out.

    1. Funeral For A Friend – Rookie of the Year

    2. This Fire – Franz Ferdinand

    3. Just Tonight – Jimmy Eat World (hell yeah. I know TomGuy was working on more Jimmy Eat World. I’m glad others are joining him!)

    1. Chronic Future – Time and Time Again

    2. Fall out Boy – Reinventing the Wheel to Run Myself Over (though technically this is the second album from Fall Out Boy)

    3. Breathing – Yellowcard

    1. Donots – Saccharine Smile

    2. Reggie and The Full Effect – Congratulations Smack and Katie

    3. Motion City Soundtrack – My Favorite Accident

    4. Autopilot Off – Make a Sound

Oh hell yeh Burnout 3 soundtrack is the best and Breathing is one of Yellowcard’s best songs.

    ShinyZeni,

The new Thrice album leaked. I’m expecting a full album custom by tomorrow morning. Get working.

Thanks for linking to chorus. We could use all the exposure we can get right now as we kick off the relaunch (I wrote for AbsolutePunk/am writing for Chorus)

OH WAIT!!!! It’s Baby You Wouldn’t Last A Minute on the Creek from Chiodos.

That clue is sort of misleading since there are still 3 active members listed on their wiki, but they are technically semi-broken up again.

I’m drawing a blank on the third one completely and google is turning up nothing. Can we get a second hint maybe?

OK kiddos! You know what time it is?

It’s hints for new pack time! This one has been done since November and I never got a chance to release it, so now seems like a good time!

Here’s the stakes: If they get guessed correctly, I’ll release the pack Tuesday, March 1st! If not, they’ll be released Friday, March 4th!

    Here we goooooooooooo

Hint 1 – This band’s first single pays homage to their homestate with this song referencing the state where they all left their partners to go on tour. This song became a sort of anthem for the genre because of the lyrical content. Unfortunately, one of the members of the band who recorded this song died in 2007, 3 years after the album’s release.

Hint 2 – I feel like every pack I have some song that I’ve collabed with someone else on haha, and this pack is no exception! This very popular quizzical charting machine released this song in their thread, and I came to them about adding vocals and fixing up the chart! I don’t remember much of their hint, just something about a video game handheld or something…

Hint 3 – Lastly, we have the 3rd single from this Michigan band’s debut album, who name themselves after the filmmakers of a…very strange cult movie. Although they had 6 members when they recorded this album, they are now down to 3 members.

    Best of luck to everyone!

Hint 1: Ohio Is For Lovers – Hawthorne Heights?

I’ll try to think of the other bands but that’s all I’ve got so far.

I would like to see you do some more Fall Out Boy, like maybe Cork Tree-era songs like Of All the Gin Joints in the World.

I think it would also be cool if you did some Walk the Moon, like their song “Shut Up and Dance”

in reply to: future plans for my customs- Muse Apocalypse please #405727

I’ll test lights and sounds for you when your done, but I am incompetent with charting. I do know that song by heart though.

I haven’t the slightest idea how to chart vocals, but what I can do is test them for you if you get someone to chart them. I know this album front to back and would easily be able to test the vocals for you if you were able to put together a working version.

Please please please keep working on this.
