• Hi!! Sorry I took so long to tell you: your last customs were AWESOME!

Also, I can’t stop listening Tool recently (Opiate song and album)! Here’s hoping it’s one of the songs you done

Do you also plan on doing some APC?

thanks again for doing Tool <3

    x

So I edited the song.dta file to have the songID and also had to change its name so it would not conflict with the other band’s song.

It’s weird because I had another couple of songs with the same name but this never happened. I would love to know why it happened this time. Probably the other packages had different names, like the name of the artist on it as well or something.

Anyway hope this helps anyone with the same problem. (This is all relevant for the ps3)

Hi there! I downloaded Wish You Were Here (thank you so much for the EMHX- love this song) but I can’t play it yet because it’s conflicting with Wish You Were Here from another band

So, the game is basically showing me both songs, but it kinda chooses one package to load and it loads on either one, it’s so weird! Can’t quite explain it better.

Now, I searched a bit and I can see that it might be the songID, however, when I open song.dta from the Pink Floyd song, it shows no songID – should I just add a random one? think this might solve the problem?

    I’ll give it a try anyway…

omg tatu!!! that’s sooo cool! I’d love if it were FB, might try to complete it myself once I’m confident in my skills thanks though!

thank you so much for these! Tool and NIN are some of my favourite bands! Tool is so fun to play, I can imagine the nightmare it is to chart. So, thank you for your hard work <3

OMG I FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK!

Sooo happy!! OK so… PAL users: it’s much easier to learn how to spoof your cfw and go to PSN get the Free Pack (and the rest of your dear DLC) than trying the offline method.

After a really intense three-day trial and error, this much I know: you guys rock for making these amazing customs!

If anyone needs help, being a PAL user with no Free Song Pack installed to get this going… and with no experience in ps3 software whatsoever, I consider myself a hero! haha

    Hi guys!

I’ve been studying this forum (and others) for about a week now, so when I got my new ps3 I would be able to get customs working.

I’ve been trying to get it to work but I’m having a problem following the instructions. First of all, I would like to point out that the Klicensee Dumper link doesn’t work – the one on this thread does: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f118/ps3-homebrew-pc-tools-collection-3-41-4-xx-118847/

The thing is, in the very first step – to connect ps3 and PC via FTP – I was only able to establish a Passive connection. Now I see that an Active one is probably needed because Filezilla does not allow me to get the libsysutil_np.sprx file off the ps3. [About this file: I didn’t find it on the same folder it was supposed to be in; found it on /dev_flash/sys/external – is this normal? is this the same file needed to be replaced by the one provided on Klicensee Dump?]

Another step that I had to do slightly different was installing the rap file for the Free Pack. After searching for a bit, I decided to use reActPSN and I believe it installed the files properly from the usb stick – is there a way of making sure it did?

Lastly, as made obvious by my need to use Klicensee, I’m a PAL user, and I really want to make this work as I have the PAL disc as well, bought loads of official DLC which I want to re-download. I know there’s the workaround of using a NTSC disc but I would rather try it the hard way.

I’ve messaged the user ijax54 who posted a while ago about making PAL work with different instructions but as I’m unfamiliar with this forum I think I ended up pm’ing a bunch of other people too xD sorry!

    Any help is much appreciated.

And thank you to all the ones involved in this project, it’s truly inspiring!
